A Brief History
Wipspace as a company has been running for 6 years in the international market place.
Wipspace was first developed in collaboration with a series of television commercial (TVC) production companies. The offering was purely in the form of a job management space, or Wipjobs. The company ran under the then parent development company Nanoson Technology CC, until becoming registered and changing ownership
into Wipspace Limited UK. The product was originally called Whip, when the company was launched internationally the name was changed to Wipspace.
Initially Wipspace entered into the international market purely as the offering of a project collaboration tool, Wipjobs. As the market needs changed, the product evolved to include Wipreels, the video content sharing application.
Vision and Mision
Wipspace seeks to change the collaborative workflow environment for creative professionals. Creating a Hyper-connected rich project framework, with real time 2.0 information flow, which dynamically informs, updates and seeks client approval from internal and external project stake holders; a dynamic non-linear system of collaboration, allowing for system highlighted correlation between projects, jobs or ideas.
Focus on online rich display. Wipspace focuses on sharing
rich media with an emphasis on online rich display.
Wipspace believes that online rich display is going to be a
major point of advancement over the next couple of years;
rich display is a combination of fluidity of user interface,
motion and the use of rich media, while delivering application
functionality. The broader market wants the ability to work
with television quality interface, with deeper personalization and complete interaction. The ability to collaborate in an online rich display environment would heighten the experience of Wipspace usage and make Wipspace’s clients appear way ahead of their competitors.
